Quarter bound textured paper covered boards with white cloth over spine. Silver gilt lettering and design.
BOOK CONDITION
Boards have general shelf wear, some discolouration and a few marks. Hinges a little weak, 7cm split to rear hinge which has previously been mended with tape. Otherwise binding feels secure. Slight yellowing to printed pages, but text and images remain clear and little marked. There is a small blue mark at the bottom of the front aerial photograph. Fold out photograph intact.

A commemorative history of the famous Cowes shipyard, from it's beginnings in Kent in the 1700's to the immediate post-war period. Illustrated throughout with a coloured frontispiece and many sepia toned historical photographs. Also two aerial photographs at either end of the volume and one panoramic scene which folds out. 102 pp. 24.5 x 19 cm.
