The Goose is situated on the village green in St Helens, arguably the biggest green in the UK (or is it the second biggest, no one is quite sure) and used by the residents for cricket, football, festivals and the summer horticultural show.

Our shop window is well in the firing line for the odd stray football, is a vantage point for the life of St Helens and for a few special days a year, a place to check on the comings and goings of prize winning vegetables.
