BOOK CONDITION
Front hinge is completely split and binding is mostly detached from the spine. First few leaves loose, but present, and others weak. Boards are generally worn and discoloured, commensurate with age. Printed pages are slightly browned, with some foxing affecting outer leaves. A letter from the author is glued to flyleaf, and a few newspaper clippings are also stuck to opening pages. A further letter, contemporary newspaper articles and handwritten notes on card are further attached within the volume. Otherwise text and images are largely clear and little marked. Previous owner's name and bookplate inside front cover. Preserved in clear archival pouch.
