We think from the name on the flyleaf that this book was once owned by Rosemary Hume, noted cookery writer and director of the London "Ecole du Petit Cordon Bleu". A detailed and practical guide to the preparation of foods, where "larder" refers to the part of the kitchen set aside for this purpose, as well as the store room. Illustrated throughout with eight monochrome photographic plates, plus various diagrams and tables. 286 pp. Octavo.
