Dark brown leather, embossed boards with gilt design.

BOOK CONDITION
Good for age. Boards somewhat scuffed, especially at spine. Binding is firm and secure. Gilt blocking at page edges is still very bright. Some staining at edges of printed pages, but otherwise clear and unmarked. Colour plates are clear and bright and tissue guards intact.
