BOOK CONDITION
Boards have some wear at edges, with a little discolouration and a few marks. Yellow remains bright. Hinges weakened but binding secure. Uneven opened page edges. The text is largely clear with few noticeable marks. Small inscription on flyleaf.

DUST JACKET
Intact but in worn condition. Tearing around the spine has previously been mended with tape. Generally faded and discoloured, with some splash marks, biro and finger prints. Preserved in removable book wrap.

Second impression of the first edition, November 1939.
