BINDING
Red cloth boards with gilt figure and lettering, and embossed design. Dark brown endpapers.
BOOK CONDITION
Boards have previously been covered with what appears to be adhesive cellophane, and hinges mended with tape. Hinges are a little weak, binding mainly secure but a few pages are loose. Some foxing throughout, and traces of damp, especially to outer leaves. However, the printed pages and illustrations remain mostly clear. Previous owners name on flyleaf, dated 1882.
