BOOK CONDITION
Offered for sale in poor condition as this is a rare volume. Boards are very worn, scuffed, frayed and bumped. Spine is loose and partially detached along the upper front cover.  Some pages towards the end of the book are loose, but binding feels secure otherwise. Title page is browned and marked with a previous owner's name in faint ink,  but most of the other printed pages remain fairly clear. The flyleaf is missing, which would have contained a frontispiece map. Map at the end of the book is also missing, but other maps are intact although tattered at edges.

A very scarce title. Defective printing has resulted in pages 113-128 being missing and replaced with duplicates of pages 321-336. Five maps remain, four of which fold out and have coloured highlights. 621 pp. 12mo.
