In good condition for age, with some general wear to edges of boards; a little scuffing, slight fraying and bumping to corners. Some splitting to hinges, but bindings otherwise feel secure. Uneven and browned opened page edges. A few marks on endpapers and outer leaves, but printed pages and images remain largely clear .Fold out map at end of Vol. I is intact and little handled. Inscription and previous owner's bookplates.
