Half bound green leather and marbled boards. Gilt lettering and banding on spines, and gilt top block edge. Tooled borders. Marbled endpapers.
BOOK CONDITION
All three volumes are intact, but in worn condition commensurate with age. Considerable scuffing to leather. Hinges a little weak but bindings feel secure. Foxing and browning throughout, although mostly affecting outer leaves and edges of printed pages and images. Many pages remain largely clear. Isle of Wight map has one tear, shown in photograph, and some creasing at folded edges.
