BOOK CONDITION
Boards are a little worn at edges. Some patches of fading and white stain marks. Binding tight. Printed pages and maps remain clear with few noticeable marks.
DUST JACKET
In worn condition with five tears, the largest at the front measuring 8cm. Generally faded. Preserved in removable book wrap to prevent further damage.

A remarkable set of 51 maps, drawn in red and black, clearly showing the route of Frodo's epic journey. Based on the author's close reading of the text and her own personal wish for accurate maps which is no doubt shared by many Tolkien fans. Quite a hard to find volume. A page of notes accompany each map. 25 x 19.5cm.
