In generally worn condition commensurate with age. Corners and edges of boards are scuffed and bumped, discoloured and faded. Hinges are weakened but binding feels secure. Some foxing and browning throughout, although mostly affecting outer leaves.  Illustrations remain largely clear and little marked.
