Blue cloth boards with embossed monogram pattern and gilt lettering and decoration. Gilt block edges.
BOOK CONDITION
Boards are generally worn, with areas of fading which are particularly significant on vols I and IV. The bottom front corner of vol. IV has suffered significant damage, possibly from long exposure to sunlight. Binding is weak, with a few loose leaves, although most feel secure. Browning to printed pages and images, especially affecting outer pages. Tissue guards to some images are browned with some tearing and creasing.
