BINDING
Quarter bound marbled boards and banded, embossed leather spine. Gilt lettering and ornamentation to spine. Lovely marbled endpapers and block edges.
BOOK CONDITION
Quite fragile commensurate with age. Spine is partially detached at the top front edge, although binding feels secure otherwise. Some foxing and browning throughout, but text remains entirely legible. Tissue guard to frontispiece is extant, but creased, torn and discoloured. Ribbon marker remains, but is detached.
