BINDING
Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering and design. Pale marbled endpapers. 

BOOK CONDITION
Boards have some general wear at edged, corners bumped, gilt a little faded. Split to rear hinge, binding a little weak but pages feel securely attached. Foxing and browning throughout, especially affecting outer leaves. Plates remain mostly clear. Tissue guard to frontispiece is intact but foxed. A couple of names on flyleaf and some pencil marks.

A charming little illustrated guide to the Isle of Wight of over 100 years ago. Illustrated with 31 plates including those by John Fullwood, a photograph of the Needles, and earlier engravings. Map is unfortunately missing. 205 pp. Small volume 11 x 15cm.
