Blue cloth boards with gilt fish design and lettering.
Boards are split along spine, worn and frayed around edges. Hinges weak. Printed pages and illustrations are good and largely unmarked. Inscription in blue ink dated Christmas 1945, with the top of the page cut away where the previous owner's name must have been.
