Quarter bound green cloth boards and green leather spine with gilt and embossed banding design and lighter green title patch.

BOOK CONDITION
Boards have some general wear to edges, corners bumped. leather spine is scuffed. Binding is secure. Possible water stain along front hinge, on endpapers. There is some foxing throughout, but most images are only lightly affected. Previous owner's name in ink with apparent date 1855.

DESCRIPTION
An intriguing volume of engravings picturing 51 Isle of Wight scenes, plus 35 from Kent. The engravings are other monochrome or sepia toned, and are on separate pages with a blank leaf in between. Some "ghosting" of the images on the opposite leaf. There is no printed text at all in the volume, and no attributions as to the original artists or the publishers / editor. 12mo, 12 x 17.5 cm.
